Portland Metro Wednesday Traffic: Partial lane closure on westbound Broadway Bridge

Part of a westbound lane on the Broadway Bridge will be closed during off-peak hours for several weeks. About 300 feet of the outside lane near the west side of the bridge will close 9 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays through about Nov 17 while crews from Century Link install conduit for private utilities on the bridge. The work is being done in advance of bridge repairs that are scheduled to begin later this fall.

Two eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 in Hood River closed at 6 a.m. Wednesday as crews make repairs to the road surface on the bridge over the Hood River. The two right lanes will remain closed from just west of Exit 63 to Exit 64 through mid-day Thursday while the concrete cures.

The eastbound off ramps will be open, the eastbound on ramp to exit 63 is closed. Expect delays in the area.

Expect delays on Interstate 5 northbound in Vancouver 9:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday between the Interstate Bridge and Mill Plain Boulevard. Crews will be making pothole repairs on the freeway.

A section of East Woodard Road near Corbett and Springdale in east Multnomah County will be closed all hours and days through as late as 4 p.m. Monday, October 30. Contractors are replacing a failed culvert that caused a landslide in that area.

The project will also repair the landslide-damaged slope. Alternate routes include:
